PRESIDENT and SBSO DIRECTOR - Abigail Snow (she/her)
My name is Abigail and I am the president of SB Music this year. I play the violin in the Folk Band and SBSO, alongside being co-conductor. I am a fourth year April vet and I've had various committee and conductor roles for the society since my first year. I am really excited for everything coming up this year!
GENERAL SECRETARY - Flora McMichael (she/her)
Hiya, I'm Flora and I'm the new gen sec for this year! I am a third year sept vet student. Having been part of SB Music for the past couple of years playing oboe in SBSO and singing with the choir I am excited to take on this role and work with the new committee. Outside of studies you will probably find me listening to Lana Del Rey or Taylor Swift :)
TREASURER- Jess Crichard (she/her)
Hi, I'm Jess. I'm the new treasurer for SB music this year. I'm part of SBSO and have been since my second year. I'm a fourth year September vet. I've never been on a university committee before but I am excited to become more involved in the society. I'm really keen to help bring in new members to the society. I think it is a space unlike any other where everyone is free to be themselves and I look forward to working with the rest of the committee to help the society grow and continue to improve.
ENSEMBLE COORDINATOR - Aoife Meehan
Hi, I'm Aoife and I'll be you ensemble coordinator this year :) I'm in my second year of Animal Science and I play the violin in the orchestra. A fun fact about me is I'm a triplet!
ENSEMBLE SECRETARY + FOLK BAND DIRECTOR- Jade Jennison (she/her)
I'm Jade and I will be ensemble secretary as well as folk band leader this year. I'm in my final year of vet med and I play the violin. Outside of music I enjoy reading, walking and watching terrible horror films.
WELFARE SECRETARY- Amy Greenfield (she/her)
Hi everyone I'm Amy and I'm the welfare sec this year. I'm a second year April vet who plays viola in orchestra. Outside of the society I can usually be found walking my beloved dachshund or reading. Feel free to come chat to me if you see me around!
